Online Vet Med
The educational offerings and resources available on Online Vet Med were made possible through an Investment for Growth opportunity awarded to the College of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Office of the Provost. The recipients of the award are Dr. Jim Lowe and Dr. Brian Aldridge. The purpose of Online Vet Med is to provide online learning opportunities for knowledge transfer in all levels of veterinary education and profession.
Master of Veterinary Science degree in Livestock Systems Health-Designed to help fill the knowledge gap in the livestock industry for both veterinarians and livestock professionals. Students learn new approaches to solve complex problems experienced in the field today from industry experts invited to instruct courses.
Graduate Certificates-Provide learning opportunities in specific subjects that either don't require a master's degree or the learner doesn't want one.
Veterinary Students-Courses equivalent to one credit-hour are available in specific subjects to provide veterinary students with the opportunity to complement their DVM curriculum. Students can take the course for their own knowledge or if their college will accept it, turn in the certificate of completion for elective credit.
Continuing Education-The College of Veterinary Medicine is an approved provider of CE equal to RACE approval. Online CE courses are listed by CE hours and successful completion of the course will present a certificate of completion.
