Horseman's Council of Illinois

Horsemen's Council of Illinois

Mission

Horseman's Council of Illinois (HCI) serves as the voice of the horse industry in our state to protect our animals and our rights as horsemen, educate within and outside our industry about horses and their impact, and to advocate for horses and for you, the horse lover. HCI is the only horse association Illinois that represents all breeds, all disciplines, and every type of horse-related enterprise throughout our state.

Purpose

Horsemen's Council of Illinois is a non-profit association serving Illinois' diverse equine community through legislative representation, education and advocacy. We are affiliated with the American Horse Council, the industry's national lobbying and trade association based in Washington, D.C.

Horsemen's Council of Illinois works to:

  • Provide education and resources to horsemen and the public
  • Represent the common interests of horsemen
  • Present a unified stand against issues confronting horsemen
  • Advocate improved health and well-being of horses
  • Actively expand and improve Illinois' horse industry
