Business Strategy is taught in business schools around the world. The purpose of this course is to provide veterinary students with the business concepts needed to help them run a successful business after graduation. Instructor Peter Foreman, a business professor at Illinois State University College of Business, delivers the same lectures provided in his business strategy course. Then Dr. Jim Lowe, associate professor in veterinary clinical medicine, sits down with Professor Foreman to discuss how the business concepts taught in the course are applicable to a veterinary livestock business, giving a “reality check” to the material.
